Entertaiment is the act of entertaining or amusing people. It can be done through acting, music, film and games among other things. It can also be a means of avoiding boredom.
One of the most famous examples of entertainment is Scheherazade – a story from professional storytelling tradition about a woman who saves her life by telling stories. This story has inspired orchestral works by Rimsky-Korsakov, Ravel and Szymanowski; a film by Pasolini; and a number of innovative video games.
