Definition
Entertaiment is the experience of enjoyment, often associated with humor or a fun activity. It may also be a form of serious entertainment that is designed to give insight or intellectual growth, such as a ceremony, celebration or religious festival. A variety of entertainments are performed by people or groups and are broadcast or staged worldwide. These include comedy, music, dance, sports and other forms of leisure activity.
To entertain means to please or amuse; to excite with laughter or excitement. It also means to stimulate the brain to release seratonin and dopamine, which are chemical signals to the body that there is a good reason for the activity.
